About the Team
The Channel Sales Manager - MSP will join the dynamic and innovative Channel Sales team at Nutanix, which is dedicated to driving growth and expanding our market presence through strategic partnerships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Our team is geographically dispersed, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and inclusivity regardless of location. You will report to the Distributor Sales Manager, who fosters a collaborative and motivating environment, encouraging team members to think creatively and take ownership of their roles. The manager's leadership style is characterized by open communication, mentorship, and a strong focus on professional development. This role has a hybrid work setup, requiring the new hire to be in the office two days a week to facilitate team cohesion and collaboration.
There will be some travel requirements associated with this role, as the Channel Sales Manager will need to meet with partners and attend industry events, which will include both domestic and occasional international trips to strengthen partnerships and drive sales initiatives.

We are a fully hybrid team. We provide you with the flexibility to work from home or work in the office in order to maximize your productivity. Our office is clean and modernized. There is occasional travel for team events but for the most part we stay connected through weekly meetings and daily Slack chats.
Your Role
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies targeting Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key MSP partners to enhance collaboration and sales performance.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for business development.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve product offerings and support for MSP partners.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct training and development sessions for MSP partners to enhance their sales abilities and product knowledge.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs outlined for the first year while establishing a solid pipeline for future growth.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted at MSP channels.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in channel sales management, preferably in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) sector.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to effectively manage partnerships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Understanding of technological concepts related to IT services and solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
